North Bali Development – ITDC to Develop 200-Hectare Tourism Development in North Bali

The Indonesia Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) – the State-owned company that manages the Nusa Dua Complex in South Bali (BTDC), is preparing to develop a large tourism complex in North Bali at a cost of Rp. 2.87 trillion.

The new ITDC development is located at the beach in the village of Pejarakan in West Buleleng.

As reported by NusaBali, the plans for the North Bali Development ITDC Project was announced by the Managing Director of ITDC, Wayan Karioka, during an appreciation night held on Wednesday October 24, 2018 to celebrate the success of the International Monetary Fund (IMF) – World Bank Conference held in Bali October 8-14, 2018.

Wayan Karioka said that two investors have signed memorandums to develop the North Bali tourism development: PT Wijaya Karya and PT AMORSK Indonesia. Both investors have signed cooperation agreements with the Menjangan Groupto develop a 200-hectare plot. The proposed development will include a lifestyle hub, starred hotels, villas, a retail village, mangrove reserve, marina and Cruise Ship Terminal.

Karioka said the development will start in 2019 and is targeted for completion by 2022.
